CHAIR

REMODEL

Furniture Studio - Spring 2015

The studio was given a shop drawing to build a chair from with the opportunity to "break a rule". I redesigned this chair to be the ideal chair for an architecture student. I extended the legs to the height of a studio desk and upholstered the seat and back to make a comfortable surface. I used recycled denim as the material in order to honor the reduce-reuse-recycle culture of Oregon.
