The majority of this school’s students come from low income families. During the 2015 earthquake the school and it’s toilet buildings were damaged, leading to serious sanitation concerns. Two of the toilets were blocked and the urinals needed a new water supply. In addition, the urinal rooms needed their drains repaired. IDV responded to ensure that the toilet buildings would function properly. In addition to this, the exterior of the toilet buildings were painted and the surrounding walkways were re-poured.
